Laurie has always been creative, but due to the demands of her life - working full time as a Physical Therapist, raising kids, gardening, etc. - she has pursued creativity as time permits... which has included designing and making quilts and furniture.

A few years ago, when going through a family crisis, Laurie began to use her drawing as part of her meditation practice.  A friend saw the results of these drawings and felt her artwork should be available for sale... not only due to the beauty but also as she felt it had a healing component.

Laurie's artwork continues to be a part of her meditation practice, but she has expanded her focus to include drawings that express her Scotch Irish heritage as well as her love for flowers and nature.
